A medium size villa designed amidst the green sprawls of Hegde Nagar, Bangalore.
Primary construction material used was Steel which helped us attain a faster contruction speed and larger cantilevered spans with minimum thickness.
The building is placed in the south-west corner of the site providing a vast frontage for appreciation of the villa through the landscape. Vertical segregation of spaces has made different privacy levels, making it properly accesible to all functions without hindrance.
Blocks are added and subtracted out to create expansive covered/open to sky terraces and sit-outs connecting interior to outside landscape. The terrace slab is split into levels to trap North-light into south side spaces. Maximum view is captured of both landscape and emerging skyline through the massive openings of the house.
True to the project name, this house is a complete Symphony in Steel, with the steel structure beautifully balanced by the landscape of the site.
