The challenge of designing this private villa was bifold: climate factor and site level.

The level difference from road to accessible area was 40' which was complex yet exciting. The house also needed to be vaastu compliant focusing on design principles of space, sunlight and function.

Situated in a densely populated urbanscape, the client required 5 bedrooms, utility spaces and recreational spaces at different levels.

The planning was done around the Indian design principle of courtyard providing visual access to each floor. Recreational spaces were planned in basements while residential area was planned on ground floor and above.

Multiple terrace gardens are built on site accessible from each floor that create a link with outdoor space and also enhance its spatial feel.
